Bihar TET result 2012: 1.47 lakh candidates clear Bihar Teachers Eligibility Test
Patna:Â Â A total of 1.47 lakh candidates were declared successful in the Bihar Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) out of the 26.79 lakh candidates who had written the examination in December 2011 and January 2012, state Education Minister PK Shahi said.
The state government had conducted the TET to shortlist a pool of eligible candidates for their recruitment as teachers in the primary and secondary schools of the state.
While 60, 730 among 21.62 lakh candidates have qualified for the TET for Class I to V teachers, the remaining 87, 254 candidates have passed the test for Class VI to VIII, Mr Shahi said at a press conference.
The TET results have been uploaded on the website www.biharboard.net to enable the candidates to find out the details on the internet.
